Since 2008, First Street Cafe in Benicia has offered its wonderful Upstairs venue (great restaurant and wine bar with plenty of atmosphere) to a monthly Open Mic Night. Now twice a month on Saturday from 7-11pm, Open Mic has attracted a wide array of local area talent, from performers of all styles of music and levels of experience. Open Mic is 'variety night' where you'll hear an eclectic mix of styles, including original music, fresh interpretations of covers, jazz, bluegrass, blues, easy rock, even classical guitar and piano.
